Natural Lawn and Garden Fertilization Programs
Description of our Services
- We take your lawn and garden off of drugs. We replace chemical fertilizers with natural, organic and locally made fertilizers that immediately enliven the soil and over time harmonize the soil-plant ecosystem into its own living balance.
What is Natural, and What is Organic?
- Everything’s natural and organic these days, isn’t it? Or is it?…
- Plant or animal based fertilizers are generally organic, but not always. Sometimes the way something is processed make s it organic or not.
- Natural means to us that the area at hand follows a rhythm already occurring in nature.
- Our locally produced worm compost mimics nature using organic ingredients. First we take animal manure and mix it with their feed and bedding, along with water. After a few months we then feed the worms in a vertical flow thru vessel that mimics the way worms naturally feed in nature. Finished product is then aged for 6 months before using on your lawn and garden.
The Multi-Year Process
- Imagine a child that needs guidance and time to mature into an autonomous adult. If you need our services, then your garden is like a child of some age or another, needing the right influences to make it on its own.
- By applying appropriate organic nutrients at the right time, we optimize proper development of your unique ecosystem.
- The first year of the fertility program is the most intensive, as the effects of chemical fertilizers and neglect must be counteracted. We analyze the soil quality and vigour of the plants to determine how much organic compost to lay down. We soak the soil in spring and fall with our specially prepared organic AACT (remember? see above) and apply foliar sprays 5 times during the year.
- Progress is observed and we then prescribe an appropriate 2nd year program. It’s usually less intense, with less top dressing and less frequent sprays. By the third year a top dressing may not be necessary, and the liquid fertilizers are applied 3-5 times.
- Our fertility program goes hand in hand with our garden design and set-up service. Why? Because you may have the best plant in the world, but maybe it’s just not suited to the site. We recommend easy growing plants that make fertilization less necessary.
Benefits of Going Organic
- Healthy home, healthy environment. Less pollution, less disease. Closer connection to nature.

Success Stories
- 92 Empire Toronto. The native perennial garden was sprayed with AACT 7 times in 2007. Top dressing was not applied due to the heavy wood mulch. Growth was lush and greater than expected by the owner. Next year, the garden will be sprayed 5 times to begin the weaning off portion of the program.

SOS Foliar – is this processed by your company or is it manufactured?
Thanks
