Organic Landscape Alliance (OLA) and the Guelph Organic Conference

The Organic Landscape Alliance, now in it’s 12th year, remains focused on the education of organic land care professionals and the concerned public and homeowners who want to learn about environmentally safe products and safe alternatives for land care management.

OLA continues to offer its membership a diverse network of business to business opportunities as well as a superb directory of organic land care companies who have adopted an adherence to practice without using any form of harmful pesticides. OLA’s website continues to offer the public free educational information relating to the use of organic products, gardening and lawn care techniques. OLA continues to be an excellent resource for the public and government bodies offering various topics of interest associated with organic and safe alternatives to lawn and garden care.

I personally believe that the OLA provides invaluable service to Ontario homeowners and green businesses. I support their endeavours as acting interim vice-president. Our AGM is upcoming before spring and I invite all of you to support the OLA through memberships, donations and/ or volunteering.

.
This weekend, January 30 and 31st is The Guelph Organic Conference, Canada’s largest annual show for organic agriculture. The Guelph Conference is the place to go if you are interested in natural food and sustainable farming. OLA will be there all weekend at Booth #134.
I will be volunteering at the OLA booth this Sat and Sun around lunch hour. See you there.
